Spring brings welcomed change.
It’s as if the earth is shouting, “hey, wake up; let’s do this thing!”
There’s a new rhythm.
Rhythm is defined as a strong regular repeated pattern of movement.
Rhythm grows consistency.
Farmers have rhythm.
“The farmer knows just what to do, for God has given him understanding”.
~ Isaiah 28:26
Farmers teach us the importance of diligence, wisdom, proper timing, and discernment.

Proverbs 31 paints a beautiful portrait of the kind of discernment that grows through a relationship with Jesus.
It helps us see how patterns, rooted in His love, help us play our role in growing His Kingdom.
The warmth and joy that shines when focus and alertness are in harmony.

The deeper meaning is really about the role of the church and its disciples.

As it describes the patterns of a “wise woman” – the “she” applies to all of us.
The opportunities we have each day because of where God has planted us.
I see a farmer.
To be honest, a few specifically.
Ones who have a rhythm in their work that brings a special kind of peace.
Just picture it.
Gets up early. Continues until the work is complete.
A protector of the land, home, and family.
Devoted to legacy and the rewards of heaven.
“She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.” – Proverbs 31:16
Prepared.
Strategic.
An avid learner.
A confidence that flows from the Lord’s wisdom alone.
A confidence that can bring laughter even in the unknown.
These two farmers have always had a special bond.
Those in their circle of responsibility are blessed.
This is what brings them true joy.
Ahavah – a love that gives.
“When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet.” ~ Proverbs 31:21
Their strength is their discernment.
A gift that flows from their heart – a heart for Jesus.
Warm, genuine, tested, and true.
She is fierce. A farmer with a lot of flare.
A young farmer with a gentle, caring spirit who loves her animals.
